The Sarah College is also involved in a number of outreach activities besides its regular courses, which are benefit to the Tibetan Diaspora community and other interested groups.
In-service training and a variety of workshopsare run at the college with teachers attending from other regions in India, Nepal and Bhutan. This training provides valuable instruction in teaching methodology and can last from 3 weeks to 2 months. We also host in-service training for the Central Tibetan Administration employees to upgrade their Tibetan language and literature skills.
The college now has a full-fledged training building financed by Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to accommodate more trainings, workshops and seminars. It has 18 double rooms with attached bathrooms with hot shower, separate kitchen, dinning hall, classroom and a hall. Any Tibetan government or non-government organisation intending to conduct workshops or short-term trainings are most welcome. An advance booking is necessary for the training building.
