THORIM RIGNEY RABJAMPA in Tibetan Language and Literature via Correspondence Exam

FOUNDATION COURSE IN TIBETAN LANGUAGE TO FOREIGN STUDENTS

ONE-MONTH INTENSIVE TIBETAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM for the Tibetan students attending Indian Universities conducted in May/June every year as per the request from the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The duration of the course is one month and normally from mid May to mid June. The course offer Tibetan grammar, history, poetry, calligraphy, Buddhist Philosophy and traditional performing arts. Students can apply by writing an application, two passport size photos and copy of your college identity card.

A SIX MONTH INTENSIVE TIBETAN LANGUAGE COURSE in the Tibetan history, Poetry, Buddhism, Tibetan grammar, spelling and calligraphy is offered to the newly recruited TCV teacher trainees. This course is aimed to perfect their basic concept in Tibetan language and literature. It is especially important for these students because they will become primary Tibetan teachers after two years training at TCV Teacher Training Center.

A SIX MONTH INTENSIVE TIBETAN LANGUAGE COURSE in the Tibetan history, Poetry, Buddhism, Tibetan grammar, spelling and calligraphy is also offered to the Tibetan Medical students with effect from July 2007. The TMAI requested Sarah College to accommodate these students because all the medical text are in Tibetan language and without good background in Tibetan language it was found very difficult for medical students to study.
